We rely on all kinds of networks to communicate and travel, power our homes, run our economy, and provide national services. Yet cyber intrusions and attacks have increased dramatically over the last decade, exposing sensitive personal and business information, disrupting critical operations, and imposing high costs on the economy. Cyber-attacks come in many different forms, threats and domains – computers, internal networks, web networks, SAAS, databases, and HLS (cameras, video access control) control of processing systems, industrial machinery and more.
Bulgarian Academy for National Security
The Bulgarian Academy for National Security is an important step in placing Bulgaria at the center of achieving effective solutions against threats to national security, including cyber threats.
Due to the dynamic changes in different regions in the world, with direct effect on Western Balkans and other EU countries, the demand for highly qualified specialists in governmental, force structures and private sector increasing each year.
Considering that the first step in security is education, one of the main goals of the Academy as center of excellence is to educate, train and consult experts in a wide range of national security disciplines and to give an answer to the challenges in the Black Sea region, Western Balkans and Central Europe.
From the first day, the Academy attracts high level professionals from UK, Israel and the United States, who served in high level positions in governmental and force structures and offer the best of their knowledge and experience.
